Many of you were fortunate enough to attend workshops or had consultations with Alex Caldwell. He and the MMPI were virtually synonymous, such was his uncanny insight into the vast store of wisdom embedded in the instrument.
Dr. Jane Rosen had the privilege of working as Alex’s assistant for more than thirty years. During that time, she came to appreciate not only his extraordinary knowledge of the MMPI, but also his humanity, empathy, and deep belief in the power of the test to change lives.
Many have wanted an opportunity to discuss and learn about this amazing instrument and explore scales, code configurations, research, subscales, and client feedback.
These forums are designed for like-minded “MMPIers” or clinicians new to the instrument to share profiles, learn from one another, and be able to nurture the fascination with the MMPI that Alex inspired in so many of us. An internet Zoom Meeting and screen-share provides an ideal setting for uploading profiles for in-depth discussion. Dr. Rosen will share a profile from Alex’s archives for your edification.
